Walking into this space brightens my day in an instant.

Looking at it now, you wouldn't say that this space is North-East facing. Painting the walls in a warm off-white colour was the best thing and by using a durable, washable paint it will withstand the throughfare for many years to come.

We all want to make a good first impression for when others visit our home, but I often wonder whether we would make the same effort for ourselves… ? We enter and leave the house via this very space, multiple times a day, so it is well used and therefore deserves some additional care and attention when it comes to designing the space.

Our home entrances are one of the most challenging spaces to decorate as we need it do so much. There is a reason why they often end up cluttered! I added many design solutions, specifically aimed at my household. This ensures that our entrance is always clutter free.
